New and Ready to Roll: Vroom Vroom Solar

There are glamping boxes (e.g., Jackery, Bluetti, Anker, etc.) that can’t power more than a few electronic devices, a tiny kettle, and a mini fan. And there are full-size, whole-house solar solutions that can’t go anywhere.

But there isn’t anything in between.

What if you want to do some serious project in the middle of nowhere? What if you want to run some monster power tools to build your next project across the property? What about an RV trip not dictated by propane refill stops and not disrupted by soul-sucking generator noises?

Let’s make off-grid solar fun.

A hardcore solar power generator goes where you need work done

Give us a truck, trailer, or whatever with enough room on top and wheels at the bottom, and we’ll turn it into your mobile solar generator. Power your workshop while you’re home, roll it across the property to build your next project, or take the setup wherever you go.

We aren’t talking about charging a phone or boiling some water. We’re talking about getting serious work done.

We custom-build batteries with our proprietary technology, which allows us to adjust battery behaviors to meet the peak/surge power requirements of monster power tools and provide sustained output — giving you the best of both worlds to run anything you want.

Instead of a one-size-fits-all solution, we work with you to understand your requirements and recommend the appropriate solar panel, inverter, and battery capacity to meet your needs. We can even add internet connectivity so you don’t miss a beat :)

A modern solar power system for RVs, toy haulers, and motorhomes

Let’s go back to where it all began… We started our solar journey when we slapped a few solar panels on a rental cargo van and motored up and down the northeast for a summer. “Wait, this actually works and is a hell lotta fun!”

Next thing we know, our converted bus/motorhome, Billy, has 8 panels and 4 batteries running a full-sized fridge, a washing machine, a microwave, an oven, a water heater, two A/C units, Starlink, and 26 devices.

We’re still eating our own dog food.

We also have a few tricks up our sleeves to make RV/motorhome living more energy efficient. For example, we use excess solar power in the winter (when we don’t use the A/Cs) for floor/radiant heating to lower energy costs.

Like all our projects, we start with your needs and help you get the most out of your resources. A nomadic lifestyle helps you become more resource-conscious, but sensible tradeoffs don’t mean compromises that make life on the road less fun!

Let’s power your next big project

We love thinking out of the box. Our motto is “can be done.”
